Old Movies Make Swell Subjects for Photos

It started with Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I aimed the camera at the TV and clicked and clicked randomly capturing snippets of the film. Then a trip through PhotoShop to jazz up the images; sometimes artifacts like the lines in the TV show up and need to be worked with, sometimes wonderful accidents occur like catching a scene change midway. The camera can be far away or up close, if taken from the side it distorts the image in interesting ways. Lots of possibilities and the film keeps rolling.

                                                               The Wild Ones (1953)

                                                                        Quo Vadis (1951)

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941)
